Shipping Guidelines

The delivery

We work without preservatives, therefore we only ship within Germany until Thursday. If you receive the tortillas, you can store them in the refrigerator for three days without any problems. If you want to store the tortillas for longer, they should be frozen immediately after receipt.

All tortillas, arepas and sopes are made fresh to order. We use DHL or GLS to deliver your goods. Unless otherwise agreed, the delivery time is 3-4 working days from receipt of order. Orders placed Tuesday by 4 pm are usually shipped by Thursday. We do not ship on Fridays or Saturdays. If you placed your order after 4 pm on Tuesday, it will be shipped the following Tuesday.

Furthermore, we kindly ask you to consider that, the delivery service usually delivers the package in the morning, when entering the delivery address. Since it is mostly fresh goods, timely delivery is very important. Therefore, please enter a delivery address where the package can be received - if necessary, at the office, with family members, friends or neighbors. If you are unexpectedly prevented at short notice, please leave a drop-off location for the delivery person, this is possible with the link of the shipment tracking. Please understand that we cannot accept any responsibility for the loss of a package or its contents if the package cannot be received personally.

Tamale Shipping: Tamales are shipped once a month with dry ice, the date will be announced on the Tamales page.Tamales This allows them to be frozen again after arrival. Tamales without dry ice will thaw during shipping and should be consumed within the next two days. They are available for purchase at any time.

Where do we deliver?
We deliver your order to any desired address within Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. No matter how heavy the package is or how many packages we need to send. Delivery is made to your delivery address. A tracking link (shipment tracking) will be sent automatically by email. In Germany, shipping is also possible to Packstationen. The package announcement is made by email (in major cities even with a time window).

How long does delivery take to Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg and the Netherlands?.
Shipping currently takes approximately 3-5 business days. Orders are only shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays. If you placed your order after Saturday 4:00 PM, it will be shipped the following week on Tuesday (max. 10 days later).

Prices include VAT. Depending on the delivery address, VAT may vary at checkout.

How do we deliver?
When shipping food, we rely on our years of experience. We carefully pack glasses in particular, using special protective materials. In addition, we also pay attention to our environment. Wherever it makes sense, we reuse packaging materials and pack space-savingly.

Is there a minimum order value? No. You can order whatever you want.

What are the shipping costs within Germany?
Shipping within Germany costs €6.00 for up to two kilograms and €7.50 for up to five kilograms. Shipping within Germany is free for orders over €60.00.

What are the shipping costs to Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg and the Netherlands?
Shipping costs €15.01 - €20.00 (0 kg - 30 kg), shipping is free for orders over €180.00.

Returns

How do I return items?
If you wish to return items to us, please contact our customer service first. Customer service will provide you with our return address and information about return shipping. Before returning, please ensure that the items are not damaged and are well packaged and that the package is sufficiently stamped. Returns due to incorrect deliveries or damage are of course borne by us.

Shipping problems

What to do if there are problems with the shipment?
If there are any problems with your delivery, simply report it by email or WhatsApp. We are happy to help you.

Your package is not arriving?
Has the package not arrived after several days and you have not received a message from the delivery person? In this case, please contact us - we will immediately check the whereabouts of your package and, if necessary, issue a search request.

The package was delivered with transport damage?
Please report the damage to us as soon as possible. In the case of hidden damage that is only visible after opening the delivery, it is best to contact us directly. For any damage, please send us digital photos of the damage by email, stating the invoice number.

How environmentally friendly are we with our packaging?
To protect the environment, we have decided to use recyclable packaging and also recycle packaging from our suppliers.
